Last Minute: Valentine’s Gifts For Her
Valentine’s Day is JUST around the corner!! I have a love/hate relationship with Valentine’s Day. On the one hand, I like the opportunity to celebrate love and take extra time to appreciate how lucky I am to have such an awesome beau…but on the other hand, I do see how it is one of those Hallmark-fabricated holidays! It would be nice if every restaurant in the area didn’t suddenly cost triple the price for the same usual dishes! I also like to celebrate our love year-round. I am constantly picking up little cards and hiding them in my boyfriend’s bag or on his night table just to remind him that I sure do love him! In any case, Valentine’s Day is almost here, so if you are scrambling for a gift for your lady, here are some of my last-minute ideas!
If your budget is….
Under $25…..Never underestimate the power of flowers and chocolate. That is one of the smallest things you can buy that will instantly put a smile on my face. My house is always filled with fresh flowers, and the more, the better! They don’t have to be fancy long stem roses, you could pick up a bouquet of anything pink, red, or white for Valentine’s Day at your local Shoprite, and I would be happy! Shop It.
Under $100…. Valentine’s is a time for romantic gifts, and for some reason perfume just seems romantic! Buy her a giftset of her favorite fragrance! Take it from me, who used to work at a fragrance counter, the giftsets are ALWAYS worth it! You pay nearly the same price as you would for a bottle, but you get a whole bunch of fun extras! Shop It.
Under $200…. I think men overestimate how much Tiffany’s jewelry costs. There is not a woman borne who doesn’t want to see that little blue box at least once in her life! Tiffany’s makes beautiful, classic jewelry…and also it is A LOT about the little blue box. For nearly the same price as going to Kay Jewelers, you can get a sterling silver piece from Tiffanys. Just do it, just at least once. Thank me later. Shop It.
Unlimited…. If you have no budget on Valentine’s Day, then go big and plan a delicious spa getaway for you two! Stay at hotel for a night, or just do a full day spa with couple’s massages and other fun treatments. It’s a day of relaxation, romance, and appreciation. A beautiful day at the Spa will do you both some good! Shop It New Jersey.
No matter what you end up doing, I hope you have a beautiful Valentine’s Day!
