Fashion Friday: Fall Boots and Chunky Sweaters
It’s Fashion Friday, and I am back! After a brief Fashion Friday hiatus, I truly hope to be sharing more of my style with you, even as the days get colder. Fall is one of my favorite seasons to dress for because the possibilities are endless! Once fall hits you can wear sweaters, break out jackets, but you could even still wear some of the items you’ve worn throughout spring and summer if you get creative with layering. Although my friends tease me for being a curmudgeon about fall (when people are talking about pumpkin spice lattes at the beginning of August) I really do love this season!
I bought this sweater over the summer on clearance at The Limited. I love buying this off season, and if you have the patience to buy something and then not touch it for a few months, you can save tons of money shopping this way! I am obsessed with this sparkly sweater, I wear it all the time. It’s a great layering piece and so comfy. The sweater is chunky, but not too chunky. I find that it’s hard to get a good pullover chunky knit as a curvy gal- you have to have a discerning eye. I struck gold with this one though!
I also want to add that despite all of the crazy expensive boots that are on the market, I have worn these Wet Seal boots that I bought for about $20 for years, and they have never let me down! I believe in buying certain fashion items for quality, but occasionally a cheap item will take you unexpectedly far. These pretty much live on my feet from October-December. Lastly, I cannot live without my Las Charolastras Skull Necklace, the perfect addition to any fall outfit.
