New Lately Loving

Darren Criss, also known as Blaine on Glee, is featured on this week’s Lately Loving! Keep reading….!

I have been M.I.A. on this blog all week! I just had to enjoy the long weekend, and with the short week I never got around to updating the ol’ blog! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! Mine involved tons of sun- finally- so I could not be happier. Here are some snaps from the last week or two of what I have been loving lately:

This view is to die-for!

My friends have a new apartment near Columbus Circle so I have spent plenty of time drooling over their rooftop view of Central Park.

Birreria is incredible but make sure you book your reservations days in advance! The Cheese plate is to die-for!

After I was done drooling, we headed to Mario Bataly’s Eataly to have lunch on the rooftop restaurant Birreria. The food was incredible and being nestled between the Flat Iron Building and the Empire State building provided the perfect view.

Hanging out in Sheep’s Meadow! I love a NY weekend.

Last weekend I spent all of my time in Central Park. It was the first non-rainy week of the summer (or so it felt) so my friends and I went out for a late lunch and then spent the rest of the evening on a blanket in Sheep’s Meadow. I returned Sunday to the same grassy knoll in Central Park to just lay around. It was perfect.

Darren Criss concert at Roseland Ballroom with my cousin!

In the last two weeks I took my cousin to a Darren Criss concert! It was her very first concert and we saw Blaine Andersen in the flesh! To hear her screeching and screaming was a lot of fun! Darren Criss was amazing in concert. He played piano, guitar, and the drums during his set and really sounded incredible live.

I also took her to Dylan’s Candy Bar, which if you have relatives visiting the City, it’s a great tourist spot as well as mecca for a teenage girl with a candy addiction.

For the 4th I went to a few barbeques and a Patriots game, tickets compliments of my mom! It was a good fam-jam kind of weekend.

Wearing my new hat poolside!

Lastly I have been loving every second lapped up at the pool! I haven’t had my first Jersey Shore day of the summer, but it’s on the horizon. For now the apartment pool 100 feet from my door will do just fine!
