You Shall See Wonders
This week I didn’t have too many posts up because I was too busy graduating college!! What a ride it has been. After three years of community college, a gap year, some incredible travels, and two years at Rutgers University, I finally have a Bachelor’s degree. I can’t lie, it feels so, so good. It took patience, perseverance, a great deal of caffeine, and endless hours of dedication, but I did it!
When I graduated high school I applied to only two colleges, including Rutgers, and did not get into either schools. I knew that a little envelope signaled a rejection letter, so when I saw the tiny envelope of sadness sitting on my kitchen island senior year, I didn’t even open it. I just cried and cried.
If you had told me then that in 6 years I’d be graduating from that very university I had been rejected by, summa cum laude, and will have been to Tokyo, London, and Paris by the time I do it….I would have never, ever believed you.
Thank you all so much for all of your support, kinds words on this blog, and for following my beautiful adventures everyday!! I know that the next few years will have just as many wonders and unbelievable moments in store– this is only the beginning!
Congratulations to the class of 2013!!
