Return From London

I am the worst blogger, and I just could not get my life together in time to write a post about how I’d be offline for a week while I was in London! I didn’t queue up any posts, I was so unprepared! But I DID just get back from London, and have written this post immediately!!

You guys…London is THE coolest city. And I don’t mean ‘cool’ as in I just like it overall, it really is cool, casual, upscale, but not pretentious, laid-back. The literal definition of the word ‘cool.’ If the word of New York City was ‘Fast’, the word of Paris was ‘Romance’, the word of London would be ‘cool.’

We even took a day trip out to Windsor Castle!

I had the best time. My best friend and I hit the ground hard, sparing not a single second of our time. We saw every sight, doubled back and forth across the Thames, and on our ‘free relax’ day walked so far we crossed tube zones (in short: FAR…the equivalent of walking from one end-of-New York-to-the-other far).

Walking the Tower Bridge!

I have so many adventures that I want to share and so so many photos!! I plan on breaking things down either by day or tourist sight, there is just so much to say!!

I’m in love with Westminster Abbey.

What I will put here for now is that my absolute favorite sight was Westminster Abbey. I am not a religious person by any means, but the HISTORY of the place! First of all, it’s breath-taking, but much more than that countless scientists, poets, Kings and Queens are buried there, the audio tour is amazing, you get to get all up in every nook and cranny of the place. The Coronation chair! Will and Kate got married there! I could go on. It was by-far my favorite moment!

I hope you stay tuned for the journey of my first time in London- I can’t wait to share it with you!
