Keep Calm and Go to London

The countdown to London has officially begun! In less than two weeks I will be flying to the United Kingdom. I could not be more excited.

This winter has been stressful for a number of reasons I won’t go into here. What I will say though, is that I don’t ever want to go another January to February without a trip to somewhere that the sun is shining. It does not have to be the Caribbean, it can be a quick weekend to the West Coast, Florida, I don’t care. I just need some sunshine, and not accounting for that this winter was a huge oversight on my part. As a one Ms.Winfrey says, when you know better, you do better! Next year I will get it together and hit the sand! It’s brutal during the New Jersey winters, the sky is the same dark shade of gray every blustery day! While England isn’t exactly a beach-side paradise, the simple delight of exploration will perk me up, I am sure of it!

I have not been blogging much because I have been terribly busy, but also because I just don’t have much to say! I have been putting my nose to the grindstone, between my job, internship, and 5 classes, I just don’t have time for crazy day trips and outings (karaoke being my one, fabulous, exception.) This May marks the end of my journey to the Great and Powerful Bachelor’s Degree, however, which will hopefully free up some time. I love being busy- it just doesn’t leave much time for blogging. I expect to have tons of blogs to write about upon returning from London, I cannot wait to share the trip with you! So far we have a very loosely-structured, but jam-packed itinerary. It’s going to be quite an adventure!
