Meeting Real Housewife Kathy Wakile

As many of you know, I am a Bravo fanatic. This past week I had a completely random opportunity to meet my third Bravo-housewife (I have also met Danielle Staub and Bethenny Frankel), and I jumped at the chance! One of my best friends works at my local Macy’s, and at the last minute they announced that Real Housewife of New Jersey, Kathy Wakile, was there to promote her new cannoli-making kit, Dolci Della Dea. The event was promoted very last minute, so I crossed my fingers and headed to Macy’s hoping it would be a little more low-key and not too crowded.

Kathy Wakile at her Cannoli Kit Demonstration, Bridgewater Macy’s

The event was held in the back of Macy’s in the housewares. They had about 50 chairs which were totally filled, but the standing room was not too crowded. Kathy came out looking beautiful and sweet as ever! She started promptly on time, and had no diva airs about her whatsoever. She started the demonstration just filling a few cannolis, but shortly began inviting people to come up and help her. Kathy was incredibly down to earth, and seemed exactly the same as she is on television…which kind of makes me feel like Teresa MUST be really crazy to be able to rile this poor woman up!

I apologize for poor photo quality, I had only my iphone and was in standing room!

Kathy was so sweet to everyone. The event was really nice, tons of people went up to help her fill cannolis and then they were passed around. Her cannolis are absolutely delicious! They tasted very fresh and they were very decorative- the kit comes with different chocolate chips and sprinkles to dip the ends in.

You can tell that with Kathy, what you see on tv is what you get! She is a sweetheart!

Afterwards Kathy stayed to take pictures with each and every person. She was very approachable. After my crazy-town interaction with Danielle Staub (which if you have not already read about, you must click HERE immediately), I just really appreciated how genuine and friendly Kathy was.

Rich Wakile!

Rich was also there, and even though there was no line to take pictures with him, if you approached him for a photo he was very nice about taking them! Overall, I had a great time, I am glad I zipped over there! It is all about being in the right place at the right time!

You can purchase Dolci Della Dea Here!
