The Little Things
Summer is the perfect season to appreciate the little things in life that create even the most fleeting feelings of happiness. That feeling of warm sun, the sound of the ocean, reading a book outside, I try to appreciate it all!
Yesterday I was having a rough day, as divas occasionally do. The perfect cure was lunching with my boyfriend at a local Greek restaurant nearby that I have been dying to check out, and eating a delicious meal of hummus, olives, and other Greek-delectables. My favorite feature of summer? Out-door seating at restaurants.
Afterwards we strolled the promenade and ended up in one of my favorite stores, Anthropologie, perusing their adorable collection of housewares. Fixing up my boyfriend’s apartment is a joy, and we picked up the most perfect door knobs to add some character to the place, as well as an old-school ceramic egg crate that was on sale.
“And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.”
