Floral Fashion Friday: Spring Fragrance

As many of you know, I used to work at the Bloomingdale’s Fragrance Counter! For this Fashion Friday, I wanted to bring you a few of my favorite fragrances for spring! I love spring, because most of my absolute favorite fragrances are floral! I love very floral fragrance, and I find that they are the most girlie and feminine of all perfume!

The first fragrance that I ever owned was Lola, by Marc Jacobs. Once I run out of all my perfumes that I received from working at the counter, I think this will still have staying power as one of my signature scents! Lola has notes of rose, geranium, and peony (my favorite flower!) and I just love it! It’s such a young, floral fragrance, and it’s great for spring! Lola is still a hot fragrance on the market, and makes a great gift!

Marc Jacobs has another best-selling perfume, Daisy, that is also a great spring find! The perfume has been a best seller since 2007, and features notes of gardenia, jasmine, and violet. I personally prefer Lola, but Daisy is great for spring as well!

One of my other floral staples is Flora by Gucci! Flora also features peony in the top note, as well as rose and osmanthus flower. It’s a more classic floral scent, but the bottle is a little more mature than Lola.

For fans of the classic scent, Dolce and Gabbana the One, there is also a floral version, Rose The One, that is delicious! Rose is a scent that is very floral as well as a bit sweet, and can add a spring twist if you’re signature scent, The One!

A classic, best-selling floral fragrance conversation can not continue without mention of Flowerbomb by Victor and Rolf, and the name says it all! Flowerbomb is like Chanel, people who wear Flowerbomb only wear Flowerbomb! Flowerbomb is an explosion of floral notes, jasmine, orchid, rose, and freesia!

To keep it a bit sexy and still spring ready-try Bright Crystal by Versace! Bright Crystal is a sexy twist on floral scents, with notes that include lotus, magnolia, peony, as well as those warm signature sexy scents like musk and amber.

These are just a few of my favorites for spring….what fragrance will you be wearing??
