Mount Lemmon

Mount Lemmon is a fun excursion and example of weather extremity. Tuscon is all desert and mountains. The desert portion was about 70-60 degrees, but when we drove up Mount Lemmon we found snow! It was quite a trip.

Mount Lemmon is a part of the Santa Catalina Mountains in Tuscon, also located in the Coronado National Forest. Driving up the Mountain was beautiful! It took about an hour to drive to the top, so you can imagine how long it would take to hike up it.

At the top of the Mountain is a ton of snow and a ski resort! It’s very small and adorable, and while we did not ski that day, we hung out watching folks come down the mountain! Very cool.

I hope you enjoyed pictures from Mount Lemmon!
