The Free Shows in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is so huge that the last time I was there, for my 21st birthday, I missed a lot! This time around I was determined to see everything.

For example, every night Las Vegas puts on a free show at Treasure Island, the Sirens of TI, and can you believe I missed it last time?? This trip out the simple pleasures of Vegas were not to be missed! We got to Treasure Island very early, and claimed a spot right in the middle.

The show is very fun, and much more campy than I thought! Of course the sirens are burlesque dancers, it is Vegas, after all.

The plot is cheesey, of course, some slutty Vegas ‘sirens’ warring with a giant pirate ship next door, but the pyrotechnics are fun, there are fireworks, and it’s free! An absolute must-see.

Next we walked on down the strip to hit up the free show at the Mirage, another one that unfortunately I missed last time. We got a good spot right in front of the volcano!

The volcano eruption is pretty cool! There was a lot more happening than I thought, and it lasts a solid fifteen minutes–once again, TOTALLY FREE! You must hit it up!

Our last stop that night was not free, however, but was one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas, Max Brenner’s Chocolate by the Bald Man.

Max Brenner is a chocolatier turned restauranteur, and his food is outstanding. His restaurant is in Casear’s, and every single item on the menu is outstanding. It’s a new American type 0f cuisine, but even the waffle fries are incredible, my mouth is watering just talking about it.

After you are done having your incredible lunch or dinner there, you can order their delectable fondue, or stop by the chocolate shop on the way out. Brenner’s chocolate is even better than his food, if you can even imagine that, so save room for desert!

You can’t beat free stuff and great (moderately priced) food in Las Vegas!!!
